There seems to be a ton of news from the world of basketball, and even if you're not a huge fan of basketball, some of it is quite remarkable. LeBron James (already the NBA's leading scorer) became the first player to surpass 40,000 career points against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. In the world of college basketball Caitlin Clark from the University of Iowa is now the leading scorer in NCAA Division 1 hoops. This isn't just the women's record. She now holds the record for women AND men. Yesterday against Ohio State, she passed "Pistol" Pete Maravich's record of 3,667. Then there was this DOUBLE OVERTIME buzzer beater that has to be seen to be believed. They take their basketball seriously in Indiana and this win by Guerin Catholic high school, might live on in Indiana basketball history forever. Check it out:
