Superstar drummer Lars Ulrich says Metallica was never "the most well-rehearsed back in the world" and that's ok.
During an appearance on The Eddie Trunk Podcast, Ulrich said, "we're very proud of the human element."
He said during the "Death Magnetic" tour, they were rotating about 60-70 songs and the setlist would be different every night which he loved.
"We like to remind people that we're just four dudes in a band trying to figure it all out like everybody else."
