According to Harvard University's COVID-19 Tracking site, people in more than half of U.S. states should not be traveling anywhere.
The Harvard Global Health Institute Risk Assessment map ranks states on coronavirus spread. Any state in red or orange is over their threshold for non-essential travel.
26 states are currently orange or red. Since July 4th, the number of red states has nearly tripled from 4 to 11.
The CDC says you should reconsider traveling anywhere if COVID-19 is spreading at a high rate where you live.
