Great White are catching some heat after playing an outdoor show in Dickinson, North Dakota, without any safety precautions.
Footage from the July 9th gig shows fans crowded against the stage without facemasks or any kind of social distancing.
In a statement, the band said "We understand that there are some people who are upset that we performed this show" but that "we are not in a position to enforce the laws".
They said that in hindsight, "we would like to apologize to those who disagree with our decision to fullfill our contractual agreement", adding "We are far from perfect".
In 2003, 100 people died at a Great White concert when pyrotechnics started a fire at The Station nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
