The Doors are the latest band to have their story told in comic-book form.
A graphic novel called Morrison Hotel is in the works for later this year. Author Leah Moore - daughter of legendary Watchmen author Alan Moore - says the band is "a natural fit for a comic".
Publisher Z2 Comics has previously made comics for bands like the Grateful Dead, Skillet, and Babymetal, as well as a biography of jazz legend Charlie Parker.
