An Iowa man got something unexpected in the mail this week - a postcard from 1987.
76-year-old Paul Willis says the card was from his sister in San Francisco, with an original postmark of Dec. 18, 1987 - and an updated stamp dated April 29, 2020 in Des Moines.
So why did it turn up now? Willis called his local post office, who said the card was likely found during a deep-clean - something many post offices are doing because of COVID-19.
