A police officer in India had his hand chopped off with a sword while enforcing the country's coronavirus lockdown.
Officials say Harjeet Singh was part of a group of officers trying to stop five men at a vegetable market. He was attacked with a sword, severing his hand at the wrist.
Fortunately, surgeons were able to reattach the hand after a seven-and-a-half hour operation. 11 men were eventually arrested after the sword attack led to a police shootout.
