American Bandstand launched the career of many a rock star during its 40-year run - but it's not exactly where you'd expect to see a band like Pink Floyd.
Believe it or not, Floyd made its U.S. debut on Bandstand in 1967 - introduced by host Dick Clark as "The Pink Floyd" before performing "Oranges and Apples".
The band lip-synced their performance (as all Bandstand performers did) then talked briefly with Clark about visiting the U.S. - Roger Waters told him they'd had "about two cheeseburgers each".
