A man in New Smyrna Beach, Florida set his hospital bed on fire to get the attention of the nurses on call.
75-year-old John King was upset that the nurses would not bring him new clothes so he created an emergency reason for them to come to his room. The nurses put out the fire and no one was injured.
King was arrested. The $4,000 hospital bed was ruined.
