Researchers at Edge Hill University in England monitored people at a bar and found that sober people get distracted by attractive faces. But drunk people get distracted by all faces.
So it's possible that when you're drunk, you'll give attention to someone you might not give attention to when you're sober because you're not even processing whether they look good to you or not.
