Fleetwood Mac has always featured a rotating lineup, especially at guitar - and they're not really sure why.
Asked by Rolling Stone why the band goes through so many guitar players, drummer Mick Fleetwood said "We don't really know."
Fleetwood said it's "daunting" to look at all the great guitar players who had stints with the band, including Lindsey Buckingham, Bob Welch, Peter Green, and more. These days, former Tom Petty guitarist Mike Campbell holds down lead guitar duties.
The band is currently planning a Peter Green tribute concert Feb. 25th in London with guests like Steven Tyler and David Gilmour.
