New Ozzy Album to Feature Duet with Elton John

The title track of Ozzy Osbourne's upcoming album "Ordinary Man" will feature an unlikely duet with one of Osbourne's fellow Englishmen.

Elton John not only plays piano on the track, but he also shares vocal duties, says Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith, who plays drums on the album. "We decided, 'Well, the song has a piano. Who is a really good piano player? I don't know ... Let's get the Rocket Man,'" Smith says. Then, after recording the track at John's U.S. digs in Atlanta, Smith says, "we're like, 'Why don't we have him sing a verse?'"

While some might wonder how well the singers' different styles would mesh, Smith says the result was "f***ing awesome." He adds, "These two iconic legendary English f***ing rockers that have been through it all are singing about the end of their lives. 'I don't wanna die an ordinary man.' And it's f***ing great." Fans will get a chance to see if they agree when "Ordinary Man" drops on February 21st.
