In a decidedly unexpected pairing, KISS has enlisted David Lee Roth to open for them at 43 shows next year.
Roth, who hasn't performed solo since rejoining Van Halen in 2007, will appear with the retiring band between February and October 2020, KISS management announced Tuesday. That's not to say Roth will be out of practice; he's scheduled to kick off a residency at the Las Vegas House of Blues on January 8th.
KISS' "End of the Road" tour, the group's second official farewell trek, got underway in January. it's expected to wrap up in 2021.
