Metallica has toured all over the world, nearly nonstop for more than 30 years. But Lars Ulrich says his favorite tour ever happened in 1991 with AC/DC.
Ulrich opens up about that experience while appearing on AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson's A Life On The Road TV show, telling Johnson "We were in heaven getting a chance to be close to you guys and watching you every night".
Ulrich says that '91 Monsters of Rock tour was a big moment in Metallica's growth as a band - and pretty much the last time they ever performed as a supporting act instead of the headliner.
