If you ever hoped to see Def Leppard rock their songs out on stage with another artist, you can pretty much forget it. It's not their style according to Phil Collen.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee says their songs are "pretty complex" and that it would change the song dramatically by having other musicians sing with them. "We use backing vocals as an instrument and all of the sudden, you can't just let anyone in on that. It's going to change the dynamic," Collen tells "All Things Considered."
If you do want to see Collen collaborating with other artists, check out his side band, G3, instead, where he along with Joe Satriani and John Petrucci invite other guitar players to jam every night while on tour.
