Scott Rusk is the consummate radio guy. As a kid he fell in love in the back seat of his parents Ford Mustang …with radio.
“Scotty” was influenced by popular DJs on some of Spokane’s greatest radio stations like KJRB 790, 97 KREM, Rock 98 Q-FM, 92.9 KREM-FM, Rock 106 and even a few early pioneers of KKZX when it was known as KQSP. In 1980 that fascination quickly turned into a passion and became what is now a 38-year on-air career.
Scott considers himself incredibly lucky to have worked alongside the very radio heroes he grew up listening and looking up to on those legendary stations.
Scott lives in Post Falls with his hot little number of a wife, Katie and enjoys spending time in this beautiful PNW playground he calls home. He is a proud father and grandfather.
