Add these to your to-do for the Best Summer Ever!

Check out the new Riverfront Park

If you haven't seen the changes they've made in the park yet, go check it out!  Ride the carousel, play in the splash pad, or hang out on the bridge.

Try Chocolate Pine ice cream

They've only been open three weeks, but Sweet Peaks has already got Spokane buzzing! Rep the PNW with their Pine+Chocolate flavor - chocolate ice cream with pine extract.

Get your skate on

Skates, scooters, and skateboards are all welcome at the Skate Ribbon! Bring your own gear and skate for free, or rent by the hour.

Support local

Support local farmers and small business by checking out one of the farmer's markets! Hit up the Kendall Yards Night Market on Wednesdays or the Thursday Market in the Perry District!

Jam out at Volume

Volume Music Festival kicks off tonight! 80 bands will take over Downtown Spokane tonight and tomorrow - get your wristbands and see as many bands as you can!

Watch movies in the park

Bring a blanket and a friend and watch a movie in Riverfront Park! The BECU Outdoor Movies are every Wednesday from June 13 to August 1.

Ride the sky

Check out the updated views from the Riverfront Park's SkyRide! It was named “One of the Top 12 Scenic Cable Rides in the World” in 2013 by Conde Nast Traveler - and it's only gotten better. The SkyRide opens in mid-June.

Shoot some hoops (or just watch)

Only 28 days until Hoopfest! Whether you're shooting hoops or cheering from the sidelines, Hoopfest is fun for all.

Watch the fireworks

Take a seat on the new bridge or bring a  blanket and lie back to watch the biggest 4th of July fireworks show in the area!

Pig out at Pig Out

FOOD. TRUCK. FESTIVAL. What more could you want?! Pig Out will be here August 29 through September 3.
