I'm trying to wrap my brain around this one, and I just can't.
As I'm sure most of you can relate, I'm a huge fan of 90's grunge (Although, to be fair, Soundgarden is technically an 80's band, just sayin') , the "Seattle sound", and of course, Mr. Chris Cornell.
Not that it was any easier to take, but at least I understood the deaths of Curt Cobain, Layne Staley, and Scott Weiland. But, this one is different. Chris battled drugs, and his demons, but nowhere near as publicly or as harshly as his fellow lead singers. Suffice it to say that I am truly sad today, and the world lost a brilliant musician, one that actually had an impact on me and shaped my life and career.
Rest well, dear Chris. May you finally find the peace that escaped you here on Earth <3
Be well dear friends, and love and be loved.
