Metallica wasn't going to let 2020 go by without playing at least one live show - and it's happening later this month.
The band will play a special concert on Saturday, August 29th that will be broadcast to drive-in and outdoor theaters across the country, including the Hayden Cinema Pop-Up Drive-In.
Drummer Lars Ulrich says they will perform from a "top secret location" with only the band and crew present. It will be their first live performance since last September's S&M2 concerts with the San Francisco Symphony.
Tickets for the one-night-only screening go on sale this Friday at noon, and include digital downloads of S&M2.
The Hayden Cinema Pop-Up Drive-In is located at 300 W Centa Dr. in the Prairie Shopping Center, just off Highway 95 in Hayden.
GA Tickets will be sold for $115 per vehicle (up to 6 people).
