Inventor Of Cut, Copy, And Paste Commands Dies At 74

You might not know the name Larry Tesler, but you likely use his invention daily.

The computer scientist who created the commands for cut, copy, and paste died Monday at the age of 74.

"Your workday is easier thanks to his revolutionary ideas," said Xerox in paying tribute to their former employee.

After leaving the company, Tesler spent 17 years with Apple, then moved on to Amazon and Yahoo.
