The league's first game will air Saturday at 2pm on ABC, with the Seattle Dragons taking on the D.C. Defenders. Later, the L.A. Wildcats face the Houston Roughnecks on Fox at 5pm.
On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Vipers will face the New York Guardians at 2pm on Fox, followed by the St. Louis BattleHawks vs. the Dallas Renegades at 5pm on ESPN.
The XFL is promising a faster-paced game with a number of rule changes, including no extra point kicks, a revamped overtime system, and the chance for two forward passes in a single play.
