For most of us, the Super Bowl is as connected to Sunday as Easter is. But a new petition that's being circulated online hopes to change that.
New York resident Frank Ruggeri has started a petition that calls for the big game to be switched to Saturdays. Ruggeri says doing so would attract more visitors to the games and bring in more money for the host cities. He also says airing the game on Saturdays would attract more TV viewers.
Regardless of whether the petition results in a change, it won't come soon enough for this year's game. Super Bowl LIV, featuring the 49ers and the Chiefs, will take place on Sunday, February 2nd in Miami.
