A Kansas police officer is accusing McDonald's employees of writing "f***ing pig" on a receipt taped to a cup of coffee ... but management swears it wasn't on the cup when it was given to him.
The incident happened over the weekend at a McDonald's in Junction City. Herrington Police Chief Brian Hornaday, trying to figure out which side is telling the truth, says he's watched security footage taken that day -- but "the video evidence did not show whether or not an employee of McDonald’s had written that on the receipt,” he says.
However, franchise owner Dana Cook tells a different story. "We thoroughly reviewed our security video from every angle, which clearly shows the words were not written by one of our employees," she says. "My McDonald’s [employees] have the utmost respect for all members of law enforcement and the military, and were troubled by the accusation made." Hornaday says the investigation is ongoing.
