Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx says the recent Netflix biopic The Dirt didn't just raise the band's profile - it saved their friendship.
Sixx told Billboard that his bandmates had become "detached" during their 2015 farewell tour and "didn't feel like a camaraderie backstage". However, since the movie, Sixx says it's "felt like it used to in the old days".
He even says his Crue bandmates were the first send gifts when Sixx's daughter Ruby was born this past July.
