O.J. Simpson's Infamous White Bronco Chase Happened 25 Years Ago Today

Today marks the 25th anniversary of one of the most infamous moments in TV history - the O.J. Simpsons white Bronco chase.

On June 17th, 1994, CNN and all the broadcast networks cut to the scene of Simpson in a white Bronco fleeing police to avoid murder charges. NBC put the chase onto a split screen with Game 5 of the NBA Finals. It's one of those days that you'll always remember where you were when you saw it happen.

The Blue Dolphin in the Spokane Valley, packed with scores of rock radio listeners getting their drink on at a weekly Roadshow, watched the chase play out on the bar's big screens as Simpson and Al Cowlings, who was driving the Bronco, eventually returned to O.J.'s home and surrendered to police.

Recently, Simpson officially joined Twitter, declaring he's "got a lot of getting even to do"
