Fun way to help kids with handwriting!

It's been a rough few months with kids doing school work from home, am I right? I totally understand, I have three teens in my house right now...it's like pulling teeth! I also have young nieces and nephews trying to learn from home. I decided that I was going to try and bring back what I DID as a young child, have pen pals! So I've been writing to my niece and nephew out in the Spokane Valley, and started writing and sending gift bags to my nephew Rhys and my niece Zeeva (shown in the photo!) over in Muscat, Oman! So far it's been super fun, and opened up the creativity in my brain a bit. Writing with different colors of pen. Writing in a circle or a square. I even (attempted) to make puzzles with either their name or their face on them. some turned out great, some....not so much. But I am learning and having fun, and keeping in touch as a good Auntie should! So far I think I might be having more fun than they do....i hope it keeps up after our town opens up and I can give them more hugs in person!
