The Seattle Seahawks are parting ways with a rookie for trying to sneak a female visitor into the team hotel.
The team cut cornerback Kemah Siverand after he was caught on film trying to sneak the woman who was dressed as player into where the Seahawks are staying for training camp.
Russell Wilson is probably very disappointed in the rookie mistake.
A pretty bold move considering on July 3rd the NFL sent a memo to clubs stating that all hotel accommodations for players during camp must comply with NFL-NFLPA Team Travel Protocol, which states:
"Room visits are permitted only by members of the Traveling Party."
No guests.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be no preseason this year so the Seahawks open the 2020 season on the road September 13th at the Atlanta Falcons.
Hopefully no more Seahawks are caught trying to get a some off-the-field action between now and then.
