David Lee Roth returns to Las Vegas this winter for a handful of shows at the House of Blues, beginning New Year's Eve.

The Van Halen frontman will bring in the New Year on December 31 and then get it off to a good start with shows January 1, 5, 7 and 8.

Tickets go on sale October 2 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time via HouseofBlues.com.

Roth launched his last comeback in Las Vegas in early-2020 after announcing it the previous fall. He performed three of nine scheduled Vegas shows and was set to join the 'End of the Road' tour with KISS when the coronavirus pandemic shut down live concerts.

Since the vaccine rollout has allowed concerts to return, Roth did not resume his support spot on Kiss's 'End of the Road' tour and gave little indication that he planned to perform again.

It was not until a red carpet interview before the MTV VMAs that Roth confirmed that he was heading back to the stage this winter. Us Weekly asked Roth if he had anything new planned from a musical standpoint.

"I'm going to Las Vegas on New Year's," Roth told Us Weekly. "We're rockin' and rollin'. You know my guitar player passed away. Eddie Van Halen — he's either in heaven or he's in hell...or he's in hell, consequently, in heaven! Read into that as you wish, and he would have me say it just like that. I carry on that spirit deliberately. There's a lot of Vegas DNA in what I do — *heavy wink* — see you on New Year's."
