The Pasadena City Council will consider a proposal for an Eddie Van Halen memorial at its next meeting on Monday.
Van Halen first started in Pasadena nearly five decades ago.
A GoFundMe campaign has raised about $5,000 so far in the hopes of getting a street named after the legendary guitarist.
Eddie Van Halen died earlier this month of cancer.
