Longtime American Idol judge Randy Jackson is strapping on his bass for another stint with Journey.
Over the weekend, Neil Schon announced that Jackson and drummer Narada Michael Walden were joining the band, calling it "a completely new chapter for us".
They'll replace former members Ross Valory and Steve Smith, who were ousted back in March during a nasty legal dispute over the Journey name and trademark.
Jackson previously played with Journey from 1985-1987, including the Raised On The Radio album.
