Dimebag Darrell was hoping to reunite Pantera before his death in 2004, a friend says.
According to friend and videographer Daryl "Bobby Tongs" Arnberger, Darrell wanted to launch a Pantera reunion right after the fateful Damageplan tour during which he was shot and killed onstage.
Arnberger, who relayed the tale during an interview on the Landryaudio podcast, says Dimebag told him "Whatever it takes, we're gonna get these guys back together and do it right".
