An environmentally-conscience bank robber in Seattle has been arrested after leading police on two separate chases -- one in a cab, and the other aboard a city bus.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon following a bank robbery in the city's Ballard neighborhood, police say. After witnesses told police they saw the 55-year-old suspect leave the crime scene in a cab, they located it and began following the vehicle, according to an incident report.
The man eventually got out of the cab and ran from officers, leading to a foot chase that ended when he boarded a city bus. Officers stopped the bus a few blocks later and arrested the man, they say.
