An announcement has just been made that drummer Neil Peart, the primary lyricist for the rock band Rush is dead. His publicist says he died this past Tuesday January 7 in California.
Peart was 67. He was known for his technical proficiency, and for weaving jazz and big band patterns with a hard rock style.
