Stolen Pitbull Gets Home After 2000 Mile Volunteer Relay

People really do care.

A pit bull that was stolen from Butte, Montana wound up in West Virginia. When the thief was arrested, the dog was stranded. Fortunately, Zeus the pitbull was microchipped. His family was contacted.

Zeus' journey home wasn't easy. Most airlines have banned Pitbulls from their planes. Zeus would have to rely on dog-loving volunteers to drive him across the country.

In total, 25 people transported Zeus a total of 2,000 miles in 4 days. The Many Paws Transport team helped coordinate the long journey home. The mission was completed on Monday.
