Sam Adams is bringing back their Utopia beer but in 15 states the drink is illegal because of its 28 percent alcohol content.
With Washington being the lone exception here in the PNW, those states include Idaho, Montana and Oregon. Other states are Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia.
The beer, named Utopia, is described as "barrel aged extreme beer" and is said to be a mixture of the company's earlier extreme-aged beer.
