For the last six months, rumors have flown that the Van Halen brothers would reunite with David Lee Roth and original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony for a 2020 stadium tour. Well, it's now been confirmed as just a rumor from a pretty reliable source; Michael Anthony himself.
The bassist posted a picture of himself in his motor home on Instagram. The caption mentioned he was taking a breather before he hit the road with former Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar for a spring tour. After a fan commented that he thought their tour was on a break for a VH reunion, Anthony simply replied: "VH tour not gonna happen."
David Lee Roth hasn't helped matters by recently saying that he's talked to Metallica, Guns 'n' Roses and Foo Fighters and that they have each agreed to hit the road with Van Halen for a reunion tour.
