The Seahawks are granting the wish of students at Wilson Elementary School in South Spokane on Thursday as part of the Wilson 2 Wilson campaign.

The afternoon assembly will feature the Seahawk's Super Bowl winning quarterback Russell Wilson chatting with students via a live video feed.

The Seahawk festivities do not stop there at the school that brielfy renamed itself Russell Wilson Elementary earlier in 2014. Each student will receive a Seahawks t-shirt and the Seahawk's mascot Blitz will join the students for lunch.

Seahawks organizers also wanted to help make a difference while they were in town. The organization said they would help Wilson Elementary kick-off its annual penny drive donation campaign for the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center. The Guilds' School helped students who had developmental delays or disabilities.
