A bouncer at a bar in Downtown Spokane was recovering Thursday after being shot in the leg overnight. Police were still looking for the shooters.

Police said they started getting calls around 1:45 a.m. about shots fired at the Lion's Lair pub. Officers found two bullet holes in the front window of the bar and a bouncer who had been shot in the leg, investigators said.

The bouncer had earlier ejected two patrons from the bar. The same patrons returned a short time later, said investigators, and opened fire from outside.

Spokane police said a lot of people were inside when the shooting happened, and were directly in the line of fire.

Police were interviewing witnesses and investigating surveillance video to piece together what happened.

One suspect was described as a black male with dread locks, woven with blue and white beads. The second suspect was described as either Hispanic or black, between 5’8” and 5’10” with a medium build.

Spokane police asked anyone with information to call Crime Check.
